Quick answers to the things our clients across the country ask most. Work with us online from anywhere in the US, or in person at our Newark, NJ office.

Do I need an appointment?
Walk-in services like notary and money transfer don't need one. For taxes or immigration packets, an appointment helps.
Can I start online and finish in person?
Yes, that's exactly how it's designed. Switch between online and in-person whenever it's easier.
Is my information safe?
Yes. Documents are encrypted in private storage, sensitive fields are column-encrypted, and every access is logged.
What languages do you speak at the office?
English and French, and we are adding more as our team grows. The website itself is also available in both.
Do you give legal or tax advice?
We prepare your tax returns, immigration documents, and business filings, and we will explain what we are doing in plain language. We do not give legal advice; for complex legal questions we will refer you to a trusted attorney.
How do I get a price quote?
Call us, send a message through the contact page, or start the intake online. We will reply with a quote before any work begins.
Do you accept cash?
Yes, we accept cash, card (chip / tap / Apple Pay / Google Pay), and bank transfers at the counter, and card or ACH online.
How will you contact me about my request?
By SMS and email, both in your preferred language. You can opt out of either at any time from your dashboard.
What are your hours and where are you located?
We are in Newark, NJ. Hours are listed in the footer and on the contact page; they are also posted at the door. If you are coming from out of town, call ahead so we can confirm and hold a slot for you.
Can I walk in without booking online?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome for notary, money transfer, money order, money pickup, and translation. For taxes, business filings, and immigration paperwork, an appointment is faster, but we will still see you the same day when we can.
How long does each service take?
Notary and money services are usually under 15 minutes at the counter. Tax preparation runs 45 to 90 minutes depending on complexity. Business registration takes one visit plus a few days for state processing. Immigration packets (N-400, I-130) take two to three visits to assemble.
Do I have to pay before you start the work?
For most services we collect a deposit upfront and the balance at pickup. Notary, money transfer, money order, and translation are paid in full upfront. We will give you the exact number before you commit; no surprise fees.
What is your refund policy?
If we have not started work, we refund in full. If work is in progress, we refund the portion we have not done. Government filing fees (state, USCIS, IRS) are paid directly to the agency and are not refundable by us.
Do you help with USCIS forms other than N-400 and I-130?
We help with the most common forms used by our community: N-400 (citizenship), I-130 (family petition), I-90 (green card renewal), I-765 (work permit), and AR-11 (address change). For more complex cases, like waivers or removal proceedings, we refer you to a trusted attorney.
Can you file my taxes if I do not have a Social Security Number?
Yes. We file with an ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number). If you do not have one yet, we help you apply for it at the same time you file. Bring a valid passport or other approved identity document.
Can I get my documents back the same day?
For notary and translation, yes, you walk out with the finished document. Tax returns are usually ready the same day; if the IRS needs more time we keep you posted. Immigration packets are ready when every form is signed and every fee is paid, typically within a week.
Do you mail forms for me, or do I send them myself?
Your choice. We can prepare everything and hand it to you to mail, or we can mail it on your behalf with certified mail tracking. We always give you a copy of every page that leaves the office.
Do you accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Zelle?
Apple Pay and Google Pay, yes, at the in-office card reader. Zelle, yes, to the number listed on the contact page. We also accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, debit cards, ACH bank transfer, and cash.
Can someone else pick up my completed work?
Yes, with your written permission. Send us an email or a signed note authorizing them, and they bring photo ID matching the name. For sensitive documents like immigration packets, we ask the authorization to be notarized.
Do you offer house calls or remote service for seniors?
We do, on a case-by-case basis, for clients in Newark and nearby towns who cannot easily come in. Call us to arrange it. There is a small travel fee for in-home notary or document pickup.
Can I book a Saturday appointment?
Yes. Saturdays fill up fast, especially during tax season (January to April). Book online or call as early in the week as you can.
What happens if my immigration application is denied?
We review the denial notice with you to understand the reason. Many denials can be cured by a motion to reopen or a new filing with stronger evidence. If the denial involves a legal issue beyond paperwork, we refer you to a trusted immigration attorney.

Can't find your question?

A few topics we don't try to answer in writing; they really need a direct conversation:

  • Complex immigration cases: anything involving prior denials, removal proceedings, or criminal history.
  • Anything that needs a licensed attorney. We'll tell you honestly when that's the case and can refer you.
  • Tax audits and IRS notices: bring the letter in and we'll walk through it together.
  • Anything where your specific paperwork matters more than a general answer.
